Eliot-Indian Bible Project for Congress
The Eliot-Indian Bible was the first translation of the Holy Bible into an indigenous American language, as well as the first Bible published in British North America. It was prepared by English missionary John Eliot by translating the Geneva (King James) Bible into the Wampanoag language.
We are calling on pastors, churches, and believers all across the country to help us with this tremendous undertaking by praying, giving, and helping to distribute the Eliot-Indian Bible presentations.
